Add very little experience, two goalies who have played well and played poorly. And until two weeks ago this motley bunch was fighting for a playoff spot. I have no idea if JC is the coach of the future but considering everything I’m curious as to why you single him out?

Cause the Hawks are losing 6-3. This is the BOD. The BOD needs a scapegoat at any given moment and unfortunately Stan is not on camera.

This team was clearly one of a few teams in the Stanley Cup conversation at the beginning of the year. Colliton has had them performing poorly all season long and Stanbo...well...nuff said. We should all be irrationally angry with how things have turned out this season.

Most fans never understood his hiring & a survey of Hawks fans would overwhelming vote for a change.
Had he earned his shot with an NHL - AHL track record maybe that vote would be different.

I retain hope that Boqvist can be an electric point producing dman. Starting to wonder if he even gets there, for how long. He gets injured, has too many concussions. Even if he improves in learning injury avoidance, his future is troubling from the injury standpoint. I really would not be surprised if Bowman offers to move up In the draft and take a dman

Yes Kalynuk is here to stay. Subtle move to stay on side then get the puck and score tonight. And I would bet that Kaiser eventually could be pretty good. He just needs to get stronger but at least he isn't just too weak and small like Beaudin.

Beaudin might be a good fit on third pair if he can get very good in preventative defense. He made strides last year but this year he doesn't seemingly take another step in development. He must because of his strength & size is an issue. There are several things I really like about Beaudin but again he has to improve on his preventative defense tactics.

I know that Mitchell ideally is an ace. We hope he comes on. But hus game is all around steady, some offensive ability but not what Biqvust ceiling is offensively

You really cannot expect nor yet has Vlasic shown he has a very high ceiling. Sure with his size, his talent (including skating) everyone loves this kid. He is projected one year in the AHL

So Phillips even Regula could turn out nice. Right now they would appear third pair with good skill and good game to keep them in NHL - just keep moving along that developmental curve next year.

So in summation Boqvist future is somewhat cloudy due to Injury concern. Although there is good talent here and in.pipeline, there is no replacement for whatever good version Boqvust has been trending toward. Hence maybe Bowman is considering drafting a dman

Just because there are possibly (probably) five dmen in top 15 is not all a comforting thought that we would draft a dman. Nope if a dman we need the top one or two, not fourth of fifth rated. Look at wiz review. Tell me how adding anything but a top top top dman is a waste. If a dman, then trade up.

That said, the top forward is the player I'd most like. If we cannot move up and draft him - assuming this would not happen - well Bowman has to really think about the Boqvist health factor
