Hynes, DeBoer, Laviloette and Gallant were all fired around the same time. One hasn t been rehired. The same one that wore out his welcome with 2 teams really fast. I don t think it’s a no-brained that Gallant is the savior.

Surprised Seattle hasn't named a coach yet. You think they would want somebody on board soon to help select players in the expansion draft, free agency period and entry draft to mold the team to the coach's system.

Maybe they're waiting for the end of the playoffs to pick up Brindamour who hasn't been extended bt Carolina yet.

Well NSH was better when the season started and Detroit couldn't get any worse.

Vindication on Colliton has to feel good though.

The Blackhawks are 21st in GA/game, at 3.10. Every likely playoff team has a better GA/game. Defense still wins.

So Keith has to be -30 this past month or something. Lordy he's bad.

Not sure a team takes that pair at near $7M without a sweetener, which the Hawks should not do.

Fair point and you've been a naysayer from the start. While I'm of the opinion the jury's still out, if you're going to tell me you thought this was a playoff team at the beginning of the season and Colliton has them underperforming, I guess we'll just have to disagree.

I did not. I had them figured for where they’re at. My concern is that JC has yet to demonstrate, at any level, that his teams can play defense.
