I’m not sure if anyone else noticed another check Willy made in the neutral zone. He did the exact same thing. Instead of going for the bulk of the body, he attacked stick side and caught the guys arms and stick. Willy anticipated the play, and created a turnover. It was subtle, controlled, and effective. Willy was never out of the play as so many guys delivering a hit are. I’m going to keep watching to see if last night was just a one off, or has Willy figured something out. We sure know he loves to have the puck.
