About a month ago I posted that Boqvist takes an awful lot of huge hits. He doesn’t seem to know how to avoid taking the hits or rolling off hits. Keith in his prime seldom took a big hit, and it wasn’t like he wasn’t in the thick of things. I have no idea if playing in the AHL can help Boqvist learn to roll off or get out of the way of big hits, but if he doesn’t learn how to soon he’s flirting with a very short career.

The AHL is a more physical league. Guys are trying to make an impression down there and there is less talent there so that style of play is more common. He does need to learn to avoid it, but i'm not sure why it has to be learned in the AHL

Agree with on dach be better off on the lw but still to early in his development to be concern. A full training camp and hopefully a healthy and ready to go towes will help dach a lot imo.

It doesn't take any type of fortitude to scratch players who have been "career underachievers".

A game is perfect. After a bad shift you can write the player off off then use the remainder of the game to reinforce your initial decision and if they happen to have a good shift or two, call it an anomaly, blame Stan say he’s only there because of his Dad and say uncle Dale would have done better.
