24. The Rangers entered Tuesday night’s game at plus-33 in goal differential. I can’t find an example of a team with a goal differential that strong that didn’t make the playoffs. They finish with two at Boston, and it would be tremendous entertainment to see those games matter. Whatever the case, the rebuild is definitely ahead of schedule.

Number 1 star in AHL Hartford v Providence (Pack won 3-1) today was Rangers’ goalie prospect Adam Huska. No. 2 star was Morgan Barron w 1 goal. It was Barron’s 10th goal & 20th pt in 19 games. Also scoring was Ty Ronning who potted his 9th goal—now 16 pts. for him in 13 games. |

Jim is right that Ottawa isn’t getting rid of their Tkachuk for nothing but half of the ranger youth. I’m hoping KK and LAF be the power forwards the rangers need. Just need a wiener that can play, obviously they are hard to find but the rangers have the assets to get it done. I’m happy giving the centres one more year. Looking forward to watching Jones tonight |
