it has to stay that way, rest of season
I have absolutely no worries about Lafreniere though.
Absolutely ZERO worries.

hes definitely got stuff to work on in the offensive zone. however i would say hes pretty much mastered the hardest part when so young in the NHL in playing defense. Just do understand why hes so tentative on the forecheck. |

I agree with both of you. you cant turn back the clock - he was the 2nd overall but maybe we have to rethink our expectations of what he will be in reality. It really does look like he could he a Selky award type player. 3rd line beast with puck possession, fierce fore check and shut down defensively

Penguins play Bruins at 3pm sunday
so we'll know by gametime if we can get within 4 points again
if they are 4 points behind the Bruins for those last two games there is still something to play for
Penguins beat Bruins twice in regulation
we beat Sabres twice, hey its back on again
come on Penguins - jimbro83
I am not getting sucked back in lol. It’s over I have moved on and just trying to enjoy the last few games |

To be fair the last time he was up there he wasn’t ready. Let’s not act like it was dumb to wait this long. Can’t blame Quinn for that |

I agree he looked a bit lost the first time he got moved up, but LAF has looked good for a month now. There was no reason why we couldnt give him a few shifts when we still had a shot at the playoffs. |

Not directed solely to you, but I always love how people who have no interaction with these players continually know better than the guy hired for the job, that spends all day, every day with them. |

You want to tell me you cant tell the difference when a guy is playing better or worse? You honestly want to tell me that over the last month LAF hasnt looked more confident? You dont need to be a professional head coach to see it. |

So what’s the reason for Howden? Bc I don’t think anyone sees one |

Hajek just not lucky with the depth we have. However, I feel like Smith should stick around if the price is right.
Ill pay for the taxi cab to the airport for Howden. |

Howden is a RFA at the end of the season. I don't think the Rangers will even qualify him and if they do, he will be in Hartford. He is already 23 and regressing, no reason to keep him and I really doubt Seattle takes him off our hands... |

Good write Jan.
Team collapsed after Trouba went down. The fact he played Bitteto is ridiculous! Agree on almost all your points. Need to be tougher a d with that said, I propose the following trade, Tyler Seguin & Jamie Oleksiak for Filip Chytil, Zac Jones, Buchnevich, Karl Henriksen, a pick or prospect. I know Seguin has some injury issues lately but reports are he’ll be 100% for next season. Jamie O is a big man and has a big shot and who can cover a lot of space! I’m not a fan of brining in Eichel! I’m not sure he’s a fit with this team, whines a lot and can’t seem to play well with others at times. I like Barkov a lot but he will be expensive unless Florida is looking to shed salary. I think Seguin could be a good fit. What say y’all? |
