9 games left, time to:

1) remove Howden permanently from lineup and insert Barron

2) remove Smith and insert Reuanen. Smith is not a "problem", we just know what he can already do --- lets find out about Tarmo

3) remove Kreider and insert Gauthier. Unlike Smith, Kreider IS slumping and needs to watch for a bit to raise his compete level. Lets find out once and for all if Gauthier is worth protecting in upcoming Expansion Draft

4) cut down on Fox's TOI. There is no reason to play him over 27 mins in any remaining games this season, spread out the time among others

I agree with a lot of this but I dont agree with removing Smith because I think he's good to have playing with any one of the young guys

I'd just get Hajek out of there and play Reunanen

I think Kreider is too important to the PP to remove him. His speed is also important cause we got no one else with legs.

Agreed. I think we already know what Hajek is. Simply put, expendable. I like the kid, but he isn't what the other guys that are coming are projected to be.

But, what is your ultimate goal for these remaining games? Win, or get the kids more experience?
For one, you are right. For the other, I'd disagree.

Unfortunately, they're still not mathematically out. I doubt they'd make these type of decisions until that has occurred.

The Howden for Barron and Fox TOI should happen immediately, though.

this guy on twitter spends his life putting up proposed Eichel trades

#NYR Updating trade offer for Eichel:

To BUF: Strome, Chytil, NYR 1st 2021, NYR 1st 2022, Georgiev and Robertson.

To NYR: Eichel.

Sign/trade for a vet 3rd line center.

Buch I think stays. Had a gr8 year and fits in well with this group + penalty kills. Be hard to trade him.

Uh -Oh----

PK Subban confirmed he has COVID and his symptoms are bad. We just played them 5 days ago, hope we don't get an outbreak....

If we trade for a C it needs to be someone hard to play against, not just skill wise but toughness. We're too soft of a team. Any trades made should be to address how soft we are to play against when the passing isn't going well.

That is correct. The vaccine gives you the information which your body responds to and creates antibodies against. You have something to fight the virus with and wont experience the worst of the symptoms / reactions. You can still get it and you can still transmit it.

No eventually the strains will weaken similar to the flu. They have the vaccine and more therapeutics. It just will not go away forever and society will have to live with it.
