The only thing I find, I could be wrong. But it seems the other team wires 100 mph slapper and then bang in the easy rebound ( Leafs D are pretty passive in front of our net ) and the Leafs try to pass/skate the puck into the net lately.

So long story short, we need to start wiring the puck at the net instead of skating around and around and around trying to fancy it in.

And some better tending....some were mad when the tips and screens were going in and now we’re just seeing straight shots going in. Grass isn’t always greener.

GLG

i really dont have a sense or feeling on that. could be

I do know that I hate seeing the shots from the point...just feels like a very very low chance of ending up in the net...i guess a chance for a rebound...but that low also

its a bit concerning the Leafs are going a long stretch of bad luck or hot goalies or whatever...every game now is close..they arnt blowing anyone out

May be time to circle back and not sign Erikkson, Beagle, Rousell, Myers, and Pearson to bad contracts that will impact your team for years, but hey its the Canucks

- Archaic

Amazing we could have all of this dead space, not play for a month, still be missing a couple of our best players....and take 2 of 2 from the Leafs. Doesn't say much for where your money is tied up does it?

From last blog because it's fun to be silly and make jokes after the Leafs (ok the Leafs goalie) poops the bed:

Who was the first person to say they would need Freddy to be back before this was done.

- Aetherial

Don't you dare take credit!

All of us wives in his harem never doubted our ginger danish demi-god for one minute! Even while some of you wanted to take him to the top of Mount "Win a Playoff Series" and make him the human sacrifice that you thought the hockey gods wanted.

- Cush29

Oh, I am taking credit!

I criticized Andersen when he sucked, but never jumped on the Campbell bandwagon. There were a few of us here pumping the brakes though.

Man, it is tough to imagine goaltending worse than we have had during our losing streaks.

the team is playing fine. all winnable games... the 2 biggest problems have been goalies and the Powerplay.

they have been controlling the play, and getting the better of the chances pretty much every game.

- senstroll

The eye test agrees.

They are also having mental lapses more often, and they end up in our net nearly always. There is also near 0 puck luck on either side.

I think it is the team is lazy because they have sewn up a playoff spot, and the goaltending has been awful. The PP problem is laziness for the most part.

This would all be just fine if this team showed that they could turn it on in the playoffs. They can't. Wasn't this why we needed so many veteran leaders?

envy of what? all the success this team has had over the last half century?

Please, list everything this team has accomplished since there have been more than six teams in the league................

i'll wait

By the amount you of time you spend trolling, it sounds very much like you have Leafs envy, sorry its obvious. Its a clear case of red headed step child syndrome.

No one in Toronto cares about the Canucks, deal with it.

I did and saw the weak goals let in,and the leafs be beat for a second straight game by a team that has had a 2 week layoff with many players contracting covid.

I care, who’s going to pick up all our 4th and 5th liners we put on waivers? We don’t want to be carrying 50 contracts.
