Spent part of the night talking with a friend who's wife had a VCA yesterday. She needed surgery and she is in a coma right now, they are trying to reduce swelling to her brain.

Sorry for the cheesiness this morning, but hug your loved ones and tell them you care about them.

Crazy how unexpected things like that can happen and change your life forever.

I had a friend, was 29 at the time, got diagnosed with a tumor on the brain. His wife was pregnant with their 2nd kid.

Things went south very fast as the tumor grew bigger, which affected his ability to think and speak.

He died 2 years later. At 31.

I always felt a particular connection with the guy because he was basically living a similar life than me, getting kids around the same age, finished school at the same time...

I hope your friend's wife comes out of it OK.

Thanks for the well wishes

Sorry about your friend, that's brutal

Yeah, at that age you don't think something like that can happen...

I hope that she lives, but the road to recovery will be a hard one.

Their youngest son has autism to boot.

It's pretty on par with where the Habs are in terms of tonal sadness.

It's fine buddy.

Pushes Kulak out of the lineup.

Which kinda sucks because Kulak was one of the most active defenseman the last few games.

I know he's a decent NHL player.

I just can't see how Jon (frank)ing Merrill will make a difference from what we've seen the last few days.

Don't be. Life happens outside the thread, and hockey. Puts our female doging about the Habs into perspective. It's a game... Yeah, we love it and enjoy it, but it's not life altering. We may bicker with each other at times, but like kick says, "We're all great friends on the internet. ™" We're here for you, brother.

clearly there's something wrong with how the team approaches games right now, so perhaps he'll help lighten up the mood a little... I dunno, I'm grasping at straws here lol

If any of you guys want some entertainment. TSN 690 has marinaro losing his mind right now. Going off on Drouin & Weber’s response to how they’re playing.

Sometimes you need a laugh.
