Wow. I didn't think Drouin could be a bigger sack of poop, but I wasn't aware of his press conference. What a horrible response to a very fair question. Not that I mind players being snippy to stupid questions, but that was a legit question and because he should be embarrassed about his lack of production with all of the money he makes. Montreal has some good skaters. But, it sometimes looks like they are trying to slow the pace of the game. Perhaps it makes sense as a deliberate strategy when playing against elite offensive talents like McDavid and Draisaitl. But, I had the same thought when I watched them Saturday afternoon in their game against the Sens.

C’mon remember when Gally was benched in the bubble? His answer was: that’s the coach’s decision and if he feels someone can do a better job, fair enough i need to be better.

And then after the playoffs when asked how he would feel if he was pushed down the line-up? If im pushed down it means that we’re getting better and it’s good for the team so I’m all for it.

Their replies were so much worse than spouting cliches. They basically said they don't give a (frank). Also Drouin's reply doesn't at all sounds like he thinks he needs to better. What a piece of poop.

I'm not surprised Drouin would say something like that. people would boo him out of town like they did to much better players if they were allowed to go to the Bell Center. Can you imagine Gallagher answering something like that?

before being sent to the taxi squad to die there, Evans got in a fight (don't remember who they were playing that day). and after the game made a comment in the scrum, a better answer than I ever heard Drouin, Weber or Price give. something about the team is built on depth, and that everyone needs to contribute, that they can be very good when everyone does.
