It was an enjoyable procrastination during the pandemic for sure. Thanks for organizing all this karine. Though, why are we now in playoffs mode in the pool? Alot of my good players missed games due to covid and now those games just dissapear? Kind of diffucult to make the most of it if they make the rules during the game, no?

Did you fare well in your pools involving money?

- Réal_Ruelle

I didnt organize it, Fido did would like to do that every year

I made the playoffs in both so i’ll know in 3 weeks

They didn’t disappear, games up to here served to determine the seeding, the top 4 teams play the bottom 4 now in the first round. Just like in real life, the regular season means nothing and it’s a 1 on 1 battle for each round, may the best woman win

This has probably been discussed at length in the last few blogs, but I don't get why they called up Caufield.

Aside from selling jerseys...I think he'd be better practicing and playing with the Rocket this week than eating popcorn and playing with his cellphone on the pressbox during games. I don't see what purpose it serves.

- stinger67

I think someone posted Rocket only have a game in April 21 and 30.

Dunno if he was but it’s highly unlikely...knowing Weber though, I bet he won’t want to hang them up not to put the Preds in trouble, this is the franchise that drafted him and it was good to him. I think if we keep him, we’ll be stuck for a while.

How did you like your first year of fantasy hockey btw?

- Karine Hains

not bad, at least now I understand a bit more how it works although I gotta admit I kinda started forgetting about it lately loll

I'd rather have him practice under Bouchard, than with disgruntled NHL players who see him as a threat and a head coach who is in over his head, and that will have zero time for player development

i agree it's early to judge Ducharme but it's unquestionable that this team has gotten progressively worse since he took over. maybe it was an impossible task for him given the particulars of this season, but the regularity with which they're getting stomped is really alarming.

as for Staal ya... i would park him. right now this team doesn't have the footspeed to keep up with the NHL pace. they need to find a way to become quicker.

did you buy one?

and he did practice with the big team while his team (Laval) had a week off

that was the point

He’s gonna miss the game on the 21st since he’s travelling with the team but this is an opportunity for him to do what Romanov did in the bubble, practice, get to know the guys and learn how things are in the nhl

it was kind of funny listening to Ducharme talk about how they literally have no flexibility to do anything anymore. they can't even make a simple call up. he sounded so defeated.

I'd say more annoyed of answering the same questions when he simply cannot use different players right now.

HE JUST CAN'T.

Last night was the last day for waiver pickups in a fantasy league, one guy took Poehling at the last minute and wrote YESSSSS on the chat.

Need to mention that he's a huuuuge weed user.

There's a guy that would likely be better than Eric Staal.

Seriously, who's the pro scout that recommended we trade for him? Fire that guy.

I believe everyone else is on the taxi Squad.

From what I understand, there was no way, cap wise, to even bring Evans in until the new guys show up and we can send people down.

well as an experienced veteran you'd hope he's able to evaluate his own play and be mature enough to admit it just isn't good enough... at some point if he's not able to readjust it'll become embarrassing both for him and the organization
