I agree it definitely should be talked about anytime retirement gets brought up. . You could get quite a bit from Nashville. They'd obviously would want him back really bad.

I think they amended it so the capture would be his actual cap hit. Instead of 28 million or so. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Got to protect Petry he’s their best D, then you keep Edmundson because that’s the guy he works with best right now and last spot is between Kulak and Fleury, depending on how they see them both evolve over the years. I know you think Kulak’s ceiling is higher, but I’m not so sure... As for Fleury, he’s been injured in Laval this season and that might explain why he didnt get a look in Mtl while Leskinen did...

then again I heard him this week say it was not his style to follow the rush and go on offfense. I wonder why because he is reallly good at it every time he does. need to do it much more often imo.

Perry is a better signing than Staal, Perry has been playing in a deeper playoff series than Staal as late as 2016-2017 and also one two years prior which is closer to the new NHL. Staal on the other hand had a deep playoff series over 10 years ago
