I like him too. I think Aetherial is right on how important he is to you guys.

I'm just saying his numbers are likely a little inflated because, despite him doing well wherever he plays, he does end up playing with offensive superstars alot.

#Leafs have lost two (2) games in regulation since March 19.

So they've earned 21 of a possible 28 points in the last month, while tied for second-best points % in the NHL.

This isn't their best stretch of the season, but the sky isn't exactly falling either.

That may be all true, but it still feels like a gut punch to get out-goalied (yet again!) and beaten by a team who apparently needed to be hooked up on IV just to get out of bed.

Haven't heard anything on Hyman, but if he's lost wouldn't that be ironic? We trade for a "clone" of sorts only to lose the real thing.

Perhaps we can hope against hope for the rise of Zombhyman?

That and Benning gave him 12 million per on a max deal.

I don’t mind the 5 forward idea but what I don’t get is why they never shoot. I get they’re waiting for a high danger shot but at some point they need to just throw everything at the net and start crashing. Spend a minute and a half passing it around isn’t helping.

If this was a team I was coaching, I'd be yelling at them to keep their feet moving.

It seems like the boyz are great a shedding a checker on the power play, but then they pass or remain in that position. I'd like to see a Marner get past a defender, and then I don't know, maybe skate towards the net, since he's now got a numbers advantage.

I enjoy callers into TSN. Everyone loves saying the leafs can't compete with Washington and Boston after their competitive afternoon game yesterday.

Except, Boston doesn't have a great goalie. They did improve with Hall but the leafs have the same or even better forwards.

They then also say only the leafs are racking up points against teams like the Canucks and senators who are in the bottom half of the league. Nevermind the Sabres, devils, red wings, ducks, etc.
