Didn't see the game - just saw the highlights.
Somehow NHL thinks it's ok not to include crucial plays in the highlight if not goals / saves.. Had to check the Edler knee on Hyman, that was dirty dirty - should be 5-7 games + imo.
Vancouver isn't as bad a team I think as the standings show.
and it seems Holtby played a pretty decent game last night.
Nice goal by Nylander, bad defending and mediocre goaltending will cost the Leafs.. - MaximusAurelius
Holtby was good and the Canucks deserve credit. The Leafs weren’t terrible, sloppy and disorganized at times but lots of posts and missed opportunities. I worry that Campbell is starting to get inside his own head. Marner seems a bit too cute. Hyman, Kerfoot and Mik were good before the injury. Robertson had a better game and the End of the Line was good. Keefe was also mixing up D pairings I think getting guys a bit used to each other in case of death |

Imho, YES, it's probably a simple a solution as that! - 21peter
That’s not really what they were doing when it was going well but maybe it’s what they need to do get get back on track. They did start to look better during the major. I thought the second unit provided some spark for the first |

I think we need some tough love on the PP. Of all these losses, even a middle of the road PP would've been enough for the win.
Maholtra's gotta be on thin ice and held accountable here ultimately: yeah, the players execute the vision, but what exactly is the vision here? You have basically an all-star game worth of forwards, so play them all.
Yup, 5 forwards, for the full two minutes.
Let Marner QB from the top, who's speed/vision/ability to execute and find seams is far better than Rielly's, and let's be honest: is Marner better defensively than Rielly anyways? |

2 goals on the AHL side, from the same spot.. No power play, defensive brain farts..
This team is not winning anything. JMO. |

What the Hell happened last night? You play a team that has been on the shelf for two weeks and then Toronto struggled. Terrible! |

From Kristen Shilton’s Twitter:
Some perspective:
#Leafs have lost two (2) games in regulation since March 19.
So they've earned 21 of a possible 28 points in the last month, while tied for second-best points % in the NHL.
This isn't their best stretch of the season, but the sky isn't exactly falling either. |

All season the leafs have had really good underlying stats. It just optically looks bad sometimes. Fans and media can't handle those times.
I'll keep saying it. I'm just looking at when this team is complete with deadline acquisitions and off injury and playoffs. |

Wayne Simmonds was never a frequent fighter, he’s only 185 lbs. and he’s 32 years old.
He’s not our enforcer. |

What does this have to do with anything I said?
Leafs are so soft,,, Terrible. Baby shiit soft.
Stand up for your mates, if you have the ability. Don't have to be a goon, to go punch a guy in the face for hurting your buddy. |

They ruled yesterday.
Chara gets to crosscheck Kadri in the head ten times with no penalty. |

Leafs are getting out goalied.
Campbell with yet another sub .900 sv% (6 out of the past 10 games) - good season #'s though. Need him to get back to that miraculous run of playing way above himself to right this still cruising ship.
