Not even close.

Those goalies were not stars, but they were not Andersen/Campbell/Hutchinson bad either.

And those teams had a Norris-calibre defenseman.

- Aetherial

Hasek was a star for sure, Osgood, Anti Niemi and Corey Crawford were all below average goalies on good teams IMO

Robertson should see PP time if he stays in the lineup.
- UsernameUnknown

I agree, I'd try him on the first PP he's got a great shot and the leafs need more of that right now

There you go. The white knight... You know best for the minorities. Lecturing and condescending... Don't get out of line brown man cuz the CC knows best.

You and your cabinet level expertise are the authority on race relations. You don't know the first thing about racist behavior or racism. You just know what you've read about it. You sit there calling me a pos... Proving again how arrogant and self righteous you think you are from your "privileged" position. You know you think you're better than regular Canadians, just admit it. You look down on working people and those you think aren't up to your elite standards. Tell the truth.

- MisterBrown

Don’t pull this oppressed minority bullpoop, Kaptaan because you’re a (frank)ing liar who doesn’t honour a bet. All I know of you is what you post here and it’s enough to show you to be a racist punk. Trying to turn yourself into an oppressed brown man is laughable.

Either way, rant all you want. But a bit of info for you. I’ve never had any connection to Justin Trudeau. I’ve worked in non political positions in the provincial government for Tories, Libs and NDPers and had lots of people from all parties that I’ve respected for their commitment even if I didn’t always agree with them. Also if you can figure out my ism, good for you because I’m certainly not sure what it is.

I don’t spend a lot of time on social media and I forget that it’s easy to waste your time with the bumholes rather than talking to people you’d rather talk to, so a cheery (frank) you to you.

I still go back to what O'Neill said early on in this PP slump. They are not playing hockey on the powerplay. They just want to set up and pass it around. There is no sense of urgency from anyone on that PP.

They are -'ve on the PP over what 5 weeks or something? How is that possible.

I see, too much fancy passing and not enough shooting it at the net. Prefer a slow roller towards the net over a great pass to the corner from the slot

An ugly goal counts as much as a pretty one on the scoreboard. Get it to the net and good things will happen. (frank) around with fancy back passes enough and one will eventually get picked off. Shovel it to the net and pretend you are sweeping to win the Brier

I just heard a movie is in the works about the Canucks beating a "Contending Team" while barely returning from a month long of near death sickness and playing a roster of 90% Utica Comets

If Hyman is out, and I am going to go full Max on this and suggest he is done for the year, they will be lucky to get out of the North.
- Aetherial

I wouldn't go that far, they'd be the favourites.

At least try.

I try to avoid you for the same reason I don’t respond to a piece of poop I accidentally step in. I try to scrape it as best I can and hope the smell goes away after a while. Sometimes however it just seems to linger.

I see a female genitalia who thinks he knows best and anyone who disagrees is subject to reprobating.

You're so conceited, you just can't handle being challenged.

Holy frank, you have diarrhea-of-the-mouth.

I just had a look at your HB Profile, very interesting. It says you play trombone and a little flute. You are the most interesting poster on here.

I did not see the game. Surprised by the outcome.
Are the Leafs the victim of advanced analytics. When I watch them play, they appear to be outstanding on puck possession...but, am I wrong, it seems most of the possession is on the perimeter of the attack zone.

Hyman seems to be strong in crashing the dirty zone, Foligno should help. But, is there not a role here for coaches? Would the Leafs not have more success if they just put more emphasis on crashing the net?

Didn't see the game - just saw the highlights.
Somehow NHL thinks it's ok not to include crucial plays in the highlight if not goals / saves.. Had to check the Edler knee on Hyman, that was dirty dirty - should be 5-7 games + imo.

Vancouver isn't as bad a team I think as the standings show.
and it seems Holtby played a pretty decent game last night.

Nice goal by Nylander, bad defending and mediocre goaltending will cost the Leafs..
