That the Leafs don't have that John Carlson type of defenseman for the PP so why the (frank) are we talking about this? If Brodie or Muzzin were they would have done it. If Sandin is that guy then let's complain about it with some data. Rielly isn't the PP QB it's Marner and we all (frank)ing know it, so why are we poopting on Rielly? His PP numbers have died since Marner came on. He's the option, it goes through him.

I would guess that 2/3 (if not more) of those points came on the powerplay... and the opinions very on his "ability" in Toronto.

Thinking he was going to live in anonymity in Toronto like he had in LA was clueless. The flaws in his defensive game were VERY exposed in Toronto.

I think he could be a benefit on the powerplay if he just stopped the piss poor shot attempts, because they equate to loss in possession more than they don't.

He could be effective as the passer who makes the opposition think with a pump fake every now and then. Not so different than Kaberle was.

If they want a shooter on the point then put a (frank)ing shooter on the point. Rielly is a puck mover who pinches and that's where he peaks.

People will develop a natural immunity to Covid just the same way they did with polio and smallpox

Murphy was far from very poor in Toronto. He was deemed as being slow, and nothing, NOTHING else mattered. He had 61 points his first year with the Leafs and still got boo’d off the ice.

11, 12 games left? 3 PPs a game? Ok my math is off by a bit. The point is that I don’t want to load up the PP with non skill guys. We have the right players. They’ve shown it before and I’m not worried that they will get it back before the playoffs even if they end up going 0 for another 29.

Reilly has his faults but good luck trying to replace him. If he hits the open market there will be a bidding war for his services.
