I think the team is playing well. Maybe minor details. On the second OV goal, a minor detail I noticed is Farabee might not wanna follow the puck and go high right side in the box so OV can’t get that shot off directly at the net.

It was still a stoppable goal.

When the Flyers have success against Ovi, it has been because we limited his time, space and direct line of sight. That has not been the case this season. Unfortunately, team defense is piss poor.

JVR ended a 17 game scoreless streak in that 2nd period ... there is no way a team can spend 9% of a team's cap on a player like this and be successful!

Jim Jackson stating he thinks Ovechkin is the greatest goal scorer in NHL history given the era he played in. He may be right, after all Ovechkin has scored a goal in 61% of the games he played on average. However Mike Bossy scored a goal in 76% of the games he played on average .. I still believe Bossy is the greatest scorer in NHL history. Still, two really great players with amazingly accurate shots!

What I don’t like about the Couturier unit is Konency in the bumper slot position and Coots on the left half wall. You get G out there, game changer.

One of the many things I don't like about the Flyers PP is they never seem to position players in the high slot for one timers. They use the boards and either take all their shots from the point of they go down low and try to force cross ice passes. They need little passes from the half wall or down low to the high slot for one timer.

Then again they can also do a cross ice pass to an open Allison for his first goal!!!
