The second was a sharp deflection, really tough. The first was Ovechkin with room on the PP...how many hundreds has he scored on dozens of NHL goalies...and the third...same. Ovechkin shots with no defense on him is a goalie’s (ANY goalie’s) worst nightmare. Team defense...folks!

I think it will be close but he’ll beat Gretzky. He doesn’t need legs to keep scoring from that spot on the PP. I think he’s got a lot of good hockey left in him.

I actually think he had the perfect angle and depth on that second goal...the problem was the deflection off TK.

Caps a superior team in every phase of the game. You cant blame Lyon for this loss. The talent gap is so obvious. Truth is I have no faith that Fletcher has the ability to start to close that gap.
