That is why Washington will win this division and challenge for the cup! Chara was NEVER coming to the Flyers. He signed with Washington because he wanted to play one last season for a team that was a legitimate Stanley Cup contender. That isn't the Flyers and never was.

Ummmm, last March before the shutdown. Oh, and they were the odds on favorite in Vegas following the round robin play last August, so I guess I was wrong. It was only 8 months ago that they were odds on favorites to win the Cup(not that I believed it cause I figured that those RR games were glorified exhibition games).

Perhaps you should go back and check with Vegas last August at the beginning of the playoffs. Pretty sure they were the betting favorite, but I'm not sure enough to put serious cash on it.

We'll see how he does the rest of the season, I just hope first and foremost he stays healthy. The future of this team is TK, Farabee, York, Allison, Foerster and O'Brien to start with, we have to hope this future core works out for the Flyers.

I'm a true believer in "offense comes from defense". Im actually more worried about Sanheim, Myers,York, and well Provy is already pretty good. The forwards have been awful on the backcheck. They are constantly outworked in all three zones, but particularly in their own. I hope for the sake of all Flyers fans those young guys you mention they can truly contribute
