while I'm hoping Ducharme will have the balls to make bolder moves and perhaps bench a veteran player or 2, it still really (frank)ing sucks he has to resort to that kind of strategy, like he was dealing with kindergarten or something. with all the experience in that locker room the players already know they're playing like poop collectively, so why wait until the coach does something drastic to start playing better, jeebus.

1) Too many games in too few nights
2) Not resting veteran players, when he should be - like today's game would have been a good example, either not dressing them or giving them a lot fewer minutes.
DD is also kinda in a tough place - MB went out and got all these veterans (plus 2 more in quarantine waiting in EDM), that sitting a vet for a kid is likely not a move that would go over well.
As you said, if he had the balls.....
