I hate the Islanders and Taylor Hall. Those early brutal losses and Vladimir Putin screwed our team. I was counting on the Islanders at least taking 1 game in regulation from Boston. I’m hoping this is the beginning of an epic collapse by them.

I find it so hard to wrap my head around the fact that we are 4 hours from game time while I’m having my 1st coffee. It has to be so much harder for a pro athlete to prepare for than a night game.

Yeah, at some point didn't we have a record of something like 103-2-1 entering a 3rd period with a lead. That was incredible. Of course we never seemed to score more than 2 or 3 goals a game though

Amazing how similar this season is to last. Very slow starts, stretch of .500 hockey, finish as a top 5-10 team in the league but just likely run out of games. I think they’re improved over last years team as well. Take away Mika’s slow start (and Trouba’s to a lesser degree), and Panarin’s absence and they are the clear 3 seed at worst. Not bad for the youngest team in the league.
