yeah I don't know

it would be a nice story but his setback where its said they found swelling around the heart, I really dont think it's a good idea if he plays again

- jimbro83

Even if he was fully healthy, I don't think he would be willing to be the backup and play 15-20 games. Wasn't there a story that he went to Washington expecting to compete for the starting job

what they really should do is make the salary cap count in the playoffs too
- jimbro83

Amen, at some point we will have teams just resting and rotating guys in the regular season. Then icing a super team in the playoffs.

It's still pretty incredible that he nearly made it back. Not sure I call the swelling a set back. Probably normal given what he's been through. He may be 100 percent on that front come the summer.

I'd welcome him back in any capacity. It's up to him if he's ready to move to the next stage or not. Playing vs staff etc.

if he's fully heathy I'd welcome him back as the primary backup at the $$$ Washington gave him this year, 1.5 mil

it would definitely be a nice story, they do have Kinkaid too just in case

No one is going to make him their starter after not playing for an entire year. Give him 15-20 games and win him his cup

Thanks! ..and I really do believe the Rangers have as good a chance as anyone at raising the Cup. We are stacked and especially if we pick up a 2C/3C.

I am madder at Putin for what he did to the Rangers than the 2016 election.

I really should wait to post this after sundown so that Jan can't post a new blog and we can really watch this board burn, but...

If the Rangers do manage to catch Boston and make the playoffs, does that make Quinn the front runner for the Jack Adams???

just like clockwork

Tampa Bay puts Stamkos on LTIR, and ooooooooh, what do you know, Kucherov is healthy enough for a full practice LOL

- jimbro83

The league won't close that loop hole in the cap until the Rangers exploit it!

I’m sure other teams have had 5-1, 5-0 etc type games. At the end of the day they all count

Their offensive talent is actually brutal. Barzal is the only guy that would play in the rangers top 6.

They rely heavily on their defense, goalie, and system

Only about 6 more years til Barzal gets sick of wasting his career and moves on, just so the fans can show him their true colors.
