It doesn’t matter, this game went out the window when Trouba got hurt, Hajek going out there every second shift isn’t going to help them either
- Rangers99

They are that fragile that they lose Trouba and the fold for the night ? If so time to rethink who your leaders are

Great should be Frankin brutal lol

- TPC

Some of these guys are going to tear each other apart. I can see the internet yelling now.

It’s concerning they don’t show up in big games. Gotta figure that out

That's all rather over-simplified.
Losing Trouba means major minutes to a guy who's not up to the challenge. Add in that Buch, Strome and Panarin all decided to not shoot tonight. And Lindgren and Miller both had some interesting plays they don't usually make.
Let's also not disregard the effort of the Isles. There was very little free ice out there. The 1st half of the game I thought they were reeling from 4 straight games with NJ.
Horrible timing as it really takes a miracle to sniff the playoffs now. But, let's not talk like we're back to square one. Hopefully they can stay close enough to keep meaning in these last growth games for the kids.

Clearly this team is not ready just yet.

Time to re-think the lineup and insert as many kids as possible. Lets see what Barron, Jones, Reunanen etc. all have to contribute. Even if they are not completely ready for the NHL, give them a bunch of games so they know what to work on over the summer to get ready for next year.

Here's hoping Trouba is OK...

It's not even that. I need a break from the Rangers and by extension, here.

Tuned in right before we scored, and turned it off not long after.
What happened to Trouba?
