Barzal knew the pass was coming as well. He wants that one back. I’m sure he would say that as well. As I said he puts that in 9 out of 10 times but those plays are just not going in for The Islanders lately. Hard smart play brings about good breaks and the Islanders are just not playing well/smart lately. As far as Ebs shooting they were both in tight and Rask was on Ebs there with no angle and wasn’t beating Rask, Imho. I think if you look at it again you will agree. Gotta get a goalie moving to score on them in the NHL.

Agreed. I said the same thing here last night. Unfortunately so did Butch lol. You can see from Barzals reaction that he was late in tracking the puck. At that speed, losing sight of that puck for a millisecond makes that play extremely tough. It was a great pass and if he connects, unquestionably a goal. Ebs had a decent shooting chance there and I totally expected him to shoot, but a nice play still that just didn't connect.

This summer we need to go out and get shooters we have enough playmakers on this team. They look for the perfect pass. Shoot the puck. Just say Rask makes the save. We have a faceoff in the offensive zone and keep momentum if we win the draw. Instead he passes and immediately hall scores and its game over. Also get the blue line and dump it in and forecheck the hell out of them. Cant score if you dont shoot.
