This team better snap out of it. They look like an absolute pile of shat. Now the refs call a penalty |

Disturbing to see such poor system play after having a break to work on such things. After a terrible first, they appeared to start to get it together but shut it down after that third goal. Varly deserved better |

Anyone will be missed when Komarov replaces them. If this team can’t absorb losing Bailey then blow it the (frank) up
Also, I expect immediate improvement for the powerplay |

Not that I saw Schwein. Clutter came back. |

Good. I had to listen to the game tonight, so wasn’t 100% sure. |

His blade broke. I didn’t see the last minute but they said it was just his skate blade. |

Isles look like a bunch of Wussies out there last night. You had 2 very dangerous plays on Clutterbuck and JGP... neither called a penalty which is frigging absurd. Look at the hit on Clutterbuck and then look at the hit where Morin got a 5 minute major and tell me the difference.. but when the refs don't call it a second time on the Casey hit someone on this team needs to get angry. We are playing an incredibly soft game right now and we are NOT a small/soft team. Martin, Mayfield, and hopefully Johnston tonight needs to beat the sht out of someone when that type of hit happens.... b/c the refs certainly aren't doing sht to prevent it. |

This is also our issue in the D-zone. we are swiping at sticks constantly instead of putting guys on their arse and taking the body. driving me nuts. |

I agree. It seemed like the Bruins won the race to every loose puck, except for a few stretches, mostly in the 2nd period. I would not be surprised if we see 1 or 2 shat signings in the line up tonight, especially if Bailey's bruised vagina hasn't healed. |

100% agree with this. When this team isn’t hitting and get away from that type of game and play like a bunch of Bailey’s then they’re ineffective. They are not a finesse team nor will they ever be. |

Can’t score goals have to get Komarov back in there that’ll solve that problem. |

Islanders are terrible on the road. This is why home ice is so crucial for the Islanders. 9-10-2. Compared to 18-2-2 at home. |

Meh, we need Ross Johnston centering the 1st line. |

Islanders on the 2 on 1 in the 3rd with Eberle and Barzal. That was the turning point in the game. Eberle had to shoot the puck he was wide open and passed it to barzal who was covered. That is the problem with this team. |
|
|
|
I hope Eberle gets claimed in the expansion draft. Have a top line of Barzal Wahlstrom and Lee. |

I thought the problem with the team was Trotz?
Regardless, I do agree with you that a recurring problem with the team is passing up shots in order to make a pass..........even if the pass is low percentage. Just take the shot and look for rebounds. |

I thought last night was arguably Pageau's worst game as an Islander. Like several others, he was fighting the puck, slow on decisioning and just off.
Overall everyone was completely out of sync and just off by a step or two. It's been that way with them for a while but last night it really seemed to come to a head. They better get it under wraps fast |

I bet they play Ross tonight.. and I bet we end up with another double penalty b/c he will try to get someone to answer for those plays last night. The problem is.. it should have been handled last night when u were down 3 goals late and were going to lose... it will end up costing them the next night.
If Martin isn't going to fulfill that role he should be scratched...and as u guys know I am a big Martin fan... if he isn't going to drop the gloves when a guy on his line gets boarded like that he should take a seat in the press box. |

At least the caps lost.. to Buffalo no less. Mantha scored again.. starting to think they weren't as crazy as we thought on that pick up. He is HUGE and had good hands. go to front of net and score.. |

Gonna disagree with you here. Eberle made a beautiful pass to Barzal right on his stick and he missed the net it happens. That’s a tap in and Barzal scores 9 out of 10 times. Ebs isn’t going to beat Rask from where he was. I will agree it was a defining point in the game. I also will agree many players try a pretty pass other than shooting. |
