Would be nice if the rest of the team rewarded Sorokin with a better effort in the 3rd. We could easily be down 3-0 right now were it not for his efforts

Coburn will only play if he has too. I remember when we were saying that after they got him. I knew he’d be in the line up within a couple of weeks.

Coburn hasn’t been a good player for years. We don’t need to see what we got in him. He’s a body if we have a couple of injuries. He has been terrible for quite some time he should not be in the lineup over Dobson for a team that can’t score a goal.

Agree. The issue for me is that the role Coburn is most eligible to fill is Mayfield's, not Dobson's. Moving Noah out for Coburn is a significant downgrade in skill, for a team that is not overwhelming in that category.

I’ve always been a mayfield fan. The guy is a good bottom pairing defenseman I don’t think he’s anything else. With that said he has been awful this season but no I wouldn’t take Hickey over him but I honestly had to think about that for a second

So why trade for him then? I haven’t watched him much so can’t speak to his play, but Lou must have had some reason to get him at deadline. And if he liked him or took a chance, need to see what you got. I agree, however, that he’s not good from ibis play tonight.

They traded for him for depth in case we lost a player or two on the backend. He shouldn’t have seen the lineup unless that happened imo.
