Looking back at that draft class -- that top 10 was actually really good. 6 out of the top 9 are All-Stars and all of the top-10 are long-term NHL'ers. Major drop-off after 10 though.

We certainly seem set at D and in goal for a long time...

He's probably about top ten in the league for sure, but as a group cup winning teams usually have much better 2nd and 3rd C than we currently have.

Strome is on pace for a 70+ pt 82-game season. What more could you want from a 2c? Especially at his price tag...

How about Strome as a 3C? You get a 2way 2C in here tha's top end, Mika-acquisition-Strome is a top 3 center unit that compares favorably to cup winners of recent past.

with maybe the exception of the Lindbom pick, if the Rangers took the top Center on the board you may not be happy with who you passed up. Even someone like Zegras is just getting his feet wet in the NHL but we did not have an opportunity to draft him.
