It funny, I did see the time stamp after I replied and wondered if you had binge-watched a bit.
Love the Owner of the team. The actress does a really good job.
I watched episodes 2-6 of Queen's Gambit the other night and stayed up way too late. Then I was bummed when I finished it the next day because there are no more episodes - Aetherial
Waaaaay back when, my wife and I got addicted to Weeds (the show, not the drug).
We went up to Pacific Mall and bought about six seasons on DVD, which we watched in about two weeks.
1:30 am on a Tuesday: "Just one more episode?"
"OK, but then we go to bed!"
It's amazing what you can do without kids. |

I get this paralysis when I get close to finishing a series I really like and slow down watching. I start looking for something else and won’t finish the one till I find another. |

Good to see Flames winning. The more the Habs have to keep taking points during their busy schedule, the less they’ll be able to rest players - Canada Cup
yes..they can push the Habs a little to make it uncomfortable.
dotn see them overtaking them...but it would be fun to watch

If I'm doing the math right, here are the magic numbers for the Leafs to finish 1st in the division:
Winnipeg: 22
Edmonton: 21
Montreal: 18
Calgary: 8
Vancouver: 14
Ottawa: see you next year. |

Four more games against each other.

This might get messy - the Leafs are supposed to play in Vancouver on Saturday.
I'm guessing they would normally fly out tonight after the game to get better acclimatized to West Coast time.
"Yeah, Gary, we are going to need a decision..." |

The players do not make that kind of decision. Almost their entire team was sick, they may have 1 or 2 players now, not enough to prevent them from icing a team. Play on. |

They get one practice before they start games. Players aren’t in game shape and may be more vulnerable to injury in a compressed schedule. |

Miller can sit out if he wants to, the fact that the PA agreed to the protocols before the season started means they are now bound by that agreement. Welcome to the real world where in a unionized job what your union decides to agree to is what you are stuck with.
Pretty sure the guy on the meat packing assembly line doesn't get to go tell his boss he doesn't agree with the COVID protocol's the employer and his union agreed to so he wants more time off and not to lose any job security or pay.
Some pro athletes and their entitlement drives me insane.
I am not saying they should do anything that risks the safety of any player here, but JT Miller's opinion that they aren't ready / in game shape or whatever and need more time rubs me the wrong way.
Either cancel all of Vancouver's remaining games and give the opponents automatic wins for the games or make them play. Vancouver may not be in the playoffs but they can impact who will or won't be in them.

Their sched is Edmonton Friday, Toronto Saturday, Toronto Monday.
If they lose all three, they pretty much have no hope of catching Montreal.
That will be a grim final month, playing out the string. |

I’m all in favour of improving conditions in meat packing plants but if they’re not considered ready they shouldn’t play. When they are, they can play. Any worker in any situation is entitled to have their safety taken seriously. There will be medical evaluations today |
