lol I hear ya and and could not agree more, but could not help but find it funny that because I called out Marner’s bone-headed decision/lazy defensive play in overtime as indefensible he decided it was because I was jealous of Marner’s wealth and I make $8/hr when I am the literal definition of a silver spoon child. It’s like he wakes up and strives to be as wrong as possible every time he types

When arguing about poverty, my having worked on an anti-poverty strategy was trumped (yeah I know) by the fact that he had read a book by a conservative black economist. Any counter argument regarding the racial component of poverty would only confirm my underlying racism.

That was long ago, my love and I share a beautiful retirement smiling lovingly at each other while muttering under our breaths. So that’s pretty standard

Funny thing is that the only $ the my ex took was to go into our still joint account to pay for her lawyer. She had run away at 16 to be with me and her parents could have gotten away with having me killed so everything worked out ok.
