He almost split the D on that one play in the second... that close from another Gordie Howe... What I've noticed is his play making ability lately. The start of this season he was THE turnover guy. Now he's making plays and finding guys open...

Is it just me or did Tkachuk seem to be a bit more of himself last night? Like he got the green light to be a Richard again. Loved it when he snowed Ritter... and Ritter's response.

Yeah I know what you mean about his play making ability. I am honestly amazed at some of the passes he makes that leads to our goals. And he definitly looks happy playing hockey again. I'm happy for him... he is way more to the Flames than most Oilers will say. Go Looch

Imo, Looch is driving the bus. He's all in on Sutter (and has been since Sutter helped him deal with his father's unexpected death) and he's getting the rest of the team to buy in too.
His play the last few games is inspired and energetic - setting an example and a challenge for the rest of the team. It strongly suggests he's now taking the responsibility of leading the team. The improved play of the rest of the team also shows that they're all on board.
With all respect to Gio, Looch may well be the heart and soul piece that Calgary hasn't had since Iginla left.

Well he took no penalty tonight, so there’s that to cheer about.

That the Canucks actually play a game again, yep!
Whats the word in the Nucks thread on Miller's comments? Are any other Nuck's players not wanting to play yet?

I pretty much agree, but Looch actually started to hustle, just before Sutter stepped in. He used to coast all the time, now he takes away time and space when he forechecks properly. I appreciate his effort, I like him - but the one knock on him, are ugly turnovers each game.
