Flyers are getting man handled on the puck and are non-competitive. They're a dead team. Elliott was horrendous in that period. He lost his net repeatedly and I could've crawled on the ice with no skates to the far post faster than he did on the Backstrom goal. Jonsey said he double clutched. He fumbled the puck and had to reach for it, pull it in and still had an open net.

The fact we can create breakaway opportunities says we have some speed
- SuperSchennBros

Lol you have no idea what you are talking about, a breakaway mostly comes from a breakdown where the other team is flat footed. I’m talking about when we have a guy on our tail and the gap is almost always closed instantly

Can the announcers stop telling about JVR's "office"? And stop telling me about how many minutes Provorov plays...I don't give a crap anymore.

Haha I saw the double clutch and said to myself he’s no where near that other post, he was dead in the water he could have clutched a few more times and never got there

Elliott finishes third in a post to post contest with a pregnant sloth.

Pretty confident Chris Elliott would be a better option in goal.

This whole team should be the guys under the seats at this point.

I guess everyone feels safe now that the deadline has passed.

And Fletcher is going to extend every underperforming swinging Richard on this team

I'm sorry everyone, it's me and it's been me all year. I got home late from work, turned on the game, it was 2 - 1 Caps and before I could blink it was 4 - 1. This has been happening all season almost as soon as I turn on a game late.

Further proof would be that at the same time the Flyers were giving up goals I had the Phills streaming on my phone in time to see them blow the lead and lose. But also I blame Neris

A breakaway can be created in man ways, speed is absolutely one. I don’t know why you get defensive for no reason.

Your argument about odd man rushes isn’t relevant to this game. So please continue being a jerk for no reason.

How many times have the Flyers switched goalies in game this year? It’s gotta be league leading

It’s really clear he has no athleticism anymore and should retire.
But I’m sure CF will resign him in the offseason

This is a clear indication that AV has completely lost this team. I still think he's a good coach, obviously look at his history. They need to make big changes over the summer. Need to add forwards who make it tough to play against and at least one really competent defenseman who can break out of the zone. Also, they need to change up on the assistant coaches...their putrid special teams this year have to be resolved, someone needs to be held accountable

It not going to be possible to make wholesale changes. They'll try to make a few moves for sure. I don't think it's a case of AV losing the team although the coaching staff has not done a good job this year. Its a case of the team losing itself.

Aube-Kubel has 3 goals and 59 penalty minutes this season. That's about 20 penalty minutes per goal. How is this kid on the ice every game and why doesn't AV sit him??????

I really don’t get why guys like Bunnaman or Twarynski haven’t taken his spot. They may not be as physical but at least they don’t they consistent dumb penalties

What happened to accountability? Remember all that tough love for Laughton in his first few years?

Maybe, just maybe, I get to see Sandin or Allison soon?

I'm old enough to remember when the power play used to be good.
