It's impossible to think his statistical model is off so better to patronize and mock those who watch hockey and are employed running NHL teams. The reality is no team was giving an asset for Mete, clearly. So stats guy thinks everybody is wrong but him and as such doubles down in an arrogant way thinking it would help convince others of his position being the correct one. It's comical

Who said that?

Because Mathias Brunet usually doesn't write garbage rumors.

but it would actually come from Stéphane Fiset

So it's Marinaro, who's reporting something Flynn told him about a conversation he had with Fiset?

Yeah.

I'm gonna stick with Brunet here.

not saying Brunet is wrong, but I don't see why Flynn would specifically mention Fiset's name and what was said if it wasn't true at all... then again, I know Norman isn't necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed

Fiset is Danault's agent right?

I'm sure he'd say the right stuff to protect his client too.

Either way, doesn't matter. Phil will need to accept less or leave.

you have a point, but at the same time as an agent you might not want to start denying facts, if an offer was on the table I think Fiset would've just said that negotiations are underway without giving any further details, for his reputation's sake... or perhaps not, and I agree it all doesn't really matter at the end of the day, except for Danault haters who can't believe he said no lol

Yes he was.

He was also the Avalanche #1 goaltender before we traded them Roy.

He got called for a hooking penalty (despite raising his arms in the air, can you believe it?!?) and that got him mad.

So he decided to jump and pummel Connor Murphy, for absolutely no reason because he was pissed.... at the ref.
