Ok so then maybe towards Hall who basically picked Boston?
- 668710

I figured Hall, if it was a player. I can't remember if Burke's statement was before or after he was asked if the Pens were in on Hall.

I can't help but think it may have been directed at JR though. Some of his moves were surrounded by questionable means. Matheson specifically, was just bazaar how it unfolded.

Has it been confirmed yet if carter will be a centre or wing yet? Any line rushes in practice posted? I imagine sully will use carter in a centre roll.

He rolled his ankle boarding the plane and is week to week.

What app do you use? Started eyeing the proforms because you can link to a tablet and some have auto adjusting resistance so you can focus on the ride. I need something with a leaderboard to motivate me lol.
- Feds91Stammer

I used the Peleton app, but only for a little bit. It can be used with any bike really. I think there were only a few tracking things it wasn't picking up, but overall it worked well with the app. There's plenty of free apps though for different classes. I used to do spin for a long time, so I already know a lot of good workouts to do on it and now I just watch tv on my tablet while I work out lol.

I'd say the only negative to the bike is I don't think the resistance setting is super accurate, but to me it's not a big deal. If that's the biggest issue between spending $900 and $2400 I'm fine lol.

Never gets old. Ideal world:

Rust-Crosby-Guentzel
McCann-Malkin-Kapanen
Zucker-Blueger-Carter
Tanev-Gaudreau-AstonReese

Angello-Rodrigues-Sceviour
Lafferty-Jankowski-Zohorna

I thought Gaudreau played so well with Tanev and AstonReese that we didn't need Blueger there. I'd put either to play with Zucker and Carter. It will be a good line regardless.

HEALTH is all we need.

- Barnaby36

I'm one that likes Blueger in a shutdown role, but I admit I like what you did there.

One random thing from listening to Burke on NHL network I forgot to mention and not sure if anyone else watched, but when asked a few times if he thought the Pens are legit contenders he never gave a resounding yes. He just keep saying he thinks they can make some noise.

I stand corrected then. I guess I don’t remember him ever playing LW in Pittsburgh haha
- j.boyd919

He hasn't much if at all in Pittsburgh since he spenda most of his time with ZAR. But I'm pretty sure Tanev played mostly LW with Winnipeg.

Nothing yet, but especially with Freddy being injured my guess is Carter is at C to start.
- Rinosaur

Is Gaudreau out out? Hex didn't mention him. And they cna still use Jank, which would suck.

I believe Hex said he's being evaluated for a lower body injury.

That's fair. I don't think the Pens are a top team, but on paper at least they should be a tough out and if certain guys get hot are capable of an upset.

He's already played LW here but sparingly.

Honestly I think they want Carter to be RW. They may roll the 4th line of:
Zoho-Jank or Laff-Scevior

Gotcha. I just started going down the rabbit hole and I definitely want the leaderboard stuff. Seen decent reviewed proforms for $500 with a year subscription to iFit

Yeah, I paid way less than a Peleton, but after I bought my Schwinn I started seeing a lot less expensive stuff on the market. The only thing to be careful of is quality. Schwinn is still pretty pricey at $900, but it's a sturdy well-built bike.

Yeah my main thing is trying to figure out the best app/interface and compatibility. Would suck to get a solid bike and be stuck with a poop program.

Coach Sullivan: "Our first inclination is to try Jeff at the center position because we think we need that at this point in time (because of injuries). We'll see how it goes, but we're excited about adding him to the roster and we'll see where it goes moving forward."

Mark's analysis is usually garbage and he is pretty much wrong in every article he writes, but he somehow has connections in the organization that give him good info. They also help him get the interviews. They know he will be flattering to them.
