Ultimately I think Sully will misuse Blueger as a shut down center instead of scoring 3c.

Playoff wise I’d have ZAR - Gaudreau - Tanev stapled to the bench.

Mix in ZAR for pk and defensive situations.

Mix in Tanev for an energy spark.

I don't disagree with the last parts, but I think it all comes down to deployment. He could treat both bottom-six lines as a 3A/3B and you'd see similar minutes. Not exact, but similar. This gives you more versatility in match-ups and keeping players fresh.

I just can't fathom we see a ZAR/Blue/Tanev line playing >10min a game.

Lavy hated Vrana. Wasn't going to work.
- Blackstrom2

In the summer fire Lavi. We will give you Vrana back for Hagelin, Kempny, McMichael, and a 2022 1st

Zucker-Blueger-Carter would be my 3rd line knowing that Gaudreau played well with Tanev and Aston-Reese.

Yeah I just think the teams success rides on the top 9 being able to score(obviously) and if you make the 3rd and 4th both meh that hurts the teams chances of winning.

Just not much of a sample to look at, outside his dominating start to juniors this year. Got cut from WJC squad. McMichael has 13 pts in 21 games with Hershey, so not dominating, but not bad for a first year pro. Aleksi Protas is looking a bit promising as well.

Yeah, even scrubs can go over a PPG in their +1 draft year. I'd put my bets on McMichael and Protas.

Yea Blue centering Zuck and Carter would be ideal with McCann up with Geno and Kap. But we probably wont see Blueger as 3c

That would be a good 4th line to sparingly use against high competition. Great speed and defense. Most of their TOI would come on the PK. Basically deploy them in the D zone almost exclusively.

You would think a guy who scored 90 goals against 14yr olds would be able to play in the NHL.

Safe to say this is the best team we've had on paper in the last few years.

Brian Burke yesterday "We're the Pittsburgh Penguins. We aren't kissing anybody's ass to play here."

Just wondering who that was meant for? Staal, Getzlaf, Hall or just a general comment towards Rutherford.

Yea was an interesting comment haha. Maybe towards Getz because he would only go to Vegas?

haha Probably yeah. Getzlaf woul've been really nice but Carter will bring more of a scoring touch to our 3rd line.

I had to read this twice because I thought you were being sarcastic. Of course Sullivan is going to use Blueger as a pure shut down center. He pigeon holes players and he has 70% us trained to accept his thinking.

I doubt it. Getz could have had his pick and none of it was based on being convinced. His only stipulation was proximity to home and I just doubt that as cocky as Burke can be, that he'd direct something like that to a player making his family a priority.

I have a Schwinn IC4 that I like. It's simple. It doesn't have a screen, but it's set up so I can connect my tablet to it if I want to do classes. It's less than half the price of a peleton. The main difference is the screen.

Has it been confirmed yet if carter will be a centre or wing yet? Any line rushes in practice posted? I imagine sully will use carter in a centre roll.

Nothing yet, but especially with Freddy being injured my guess is Carter is at C to start.

What app do you use? Started eyeing the proforms because you can link to a tablet and some have auto adjusting resistance so you can focus on the ride. I need something with a leaderboard to motivate me lol.
