not at all, I don't buy that confidence bullpoop. if he's ready he's ready. if he's not he's not. but I don't remember a single player ruining his career because he spent a few weeks/months in the AHL. not one. the kid may know how to score, he still has other things to learn.

oh I agree spending time in the AHL is a good thing, just saying he seems to have a much needed goal scoring potential... ideally though the team will have come back to their winning ways before they do call him up

I actually think it would be good for him to play 1 or 2 games this year. that would give him an idea of what he needs to work on over the summer.
