So the boys just didn't give a (frank) tonight or what? By far the worst effort of the season.
I don't care about losing games, wins and losses this season are irrelevant to me, especially in the final month here. But playing like that, with zero effort, is embarrassing and pathetic |

I feel worse for anyone paying money to see this team play.
So many of those sales reps don’t know much (if anything) about the teams history or hockey. They just work off their taking points that was put together by someone else.
My favorite part is the called ID on the sales calls says ‘SIXERS’ most of the time. Classy. This use to be an in house function of the Devils organization. Now it’s outsourced to some telemarketing call center. Another Apollo Group ‘Improvement’.
Love when the team ownership talks about improving the ‘fan experience’. Improve the hockey for (frank)’s sake! |

Travis Zajac in an Islander jersey is one of the strangest things I’ve seen. - smellmyfinger
Ever see him score a goal as easy as last nights? Barzal draws 3 guys behind the net and hands it to him on a platter.
We've got a post season team to cheer for boys!
Palms, Zajac, Schneids, Greene.......... |

but as Matt pointed out.. over 50 shots TOWARDS goal.. to the Rags credit, they blocked whatever amount.. and we hit 3 posts.. and some shots went wide. |

Back when he had Parise on one wing and Langenbrunner on the other he actually managed to look like a 1C for a while, lol.
And yeah I can swallow my pride and root for Devils East this year. |

Guy is a rookie. He’s average until he establishes himself otherwise. Average doesn’t mean bad.. that would be below average. |

All I can say is if you finish bottom 5 in the league, you'd better finish top 5 in hits/fights. Can't simply roll over and had the 2 points over without putting up a fight. We can't even win a faceoff, so find a way to be dreaded, and not simply a "stat-night" for the big dogs.
The draft simulator is looking better at least.... |

Thats just not true atm. Early in the season, sure, but over the last month and half or two months(~the last 25 games) they're over 50% as a team. They've actually improved a lot from the first month and a half |

They are slotted in with the 3rd best odds in the draft lottery. So they will pick anywhere from 1-5. Same as Vegas, except its only 2 lottery spots now instead of 3 |

So if the standings stay as is, they will push us down to 4th best odds. If a top pick is a priority, I hope NJ loses a bit more, I mean, mind as well, right? |

Yeah everybody besides the 2 worst teams will get pushed down a slot. But in this draft that one draft slot won't really mean too much in this range, unless you are in the 'one of the top 3 D or bust' camp.
There's legit like 9 or 10 players that could be argued to go #1, so everybody's list will be different. You could be picking 7 and get the player you have #1 on your list. It's just one of those years. |

If the players are interchangeable like that, I would just pick Hughes. Would help solidify jack wanting to stay in Jersey. And from what I read, Hughes is pretty darn good too. |

Oh absolutely, hes my #1. I like Hughes>Clarke>Power then into like 6 or 7 forwards before the next D. But Hughes for instance, he's been ranked anywhere from 1 to 10 among different prospect sites/rankings. Its like that for pretty much every player inside the top 10.
So, theres a chance those top 3 D are the first 3 picks off the board, or we could be picking at 6 or 7 and have one fall to us. As of right now, its all completely up in the air and a "crapshoot" if you will |
