Vrana would be perfect for this team. Great skater, needs a good play maker to help him produce, just needs some extra ice time to grow as a player. And Detroit gets a 1st and a 2nd? I'm guessing Hall wouldn't waive to go to Caps and they saw other teams gearing up for their playoff runs and panicked.

I think we owe it to Butch to give him some heavy reps as we close out the season. We need to see where he fits and consider other options if he can't regain top 4 form. He has been OK this season, but the sample size is way too small. Overall, a lackluster trade deadline day today. Good value on Kuli, otherwise a big flop for the rest of the squad.

that's for the old NHL. The Babcocks and the Tortarellas of the league are getting to get pushed out. Ruff has been doing it right. He keeps the kids accountable for their play but he also gives them a fair shot to prove themselves on the ice. They still play hard and they know they are out of the lineup if they don't perform. They don't need some guy screaming at them or benching them for a minor mistake.
