Honestly I haven't even seen a ball game yet and can't even tell you what the jays record is. I did notice there big free agent signing was hurt end of pre-season and didn't start the season. So you will have to tell me how they are doing cause I have no clue.

4-5, Springer hasn't played, which sucks.

Seems like they are trying to just hit dingers instead of having approaches like they did last season.

Vlad looks insane though, both defensively and at the plate.

I saw a couple of pre-season innings. He lost a bunch of weight, looks to be in pretty great shape. Hopefully they get some decent pitching and they should be able to compete. Hopefully they can follow the rules and avoid catching the covid, but since so many people can't do that it might be tough to make it through without losing players to quarantine.

Yeah, Hernandez has already been in contact with someone who had it. Honestly it boggles my mind how some people don't take it (frank)ing seriously.

At least in America, adults are getting vaccinated quickly.

As for pitching, Roark is still terrible. Ryu and Matz have been great. Ray is having a solid game (2 hits, 3 walks, 2 ER , 5 IP). Their bullpen is good, albeit injured. Just worried about two maybe three of the starters.

I thought the Oilers would do a little more. I figured depth goalie like ullmark if there was cap space.

Guys on tsn said there's 30 million in cap space this summer so I expect a few moves from Holland.

Yeah, i think he is just waiting for some of the previous regimes poop to fall away. The team isn't ready to compete for it all with just a couple small tweaks, so why give up any futures at this point. Wait for expansion to be all over, some contracts to fall off, and reassess the situation.
