Need someone to push dermott down (or bogosian) - TheMussel
Why would you want to push Bogo down? He's been really solid all year in my opinion and didn't they grab him to be the mean, nasty SOB with the beard who makes life miserable for the opposition in front of the net come playoff time?
I would bump Cornrows Mc Banana Hammock down first and then see how it goes. If Bogo is getting torched routinely with guys with speed then maybe you swap him and Dermott.

Would love to see Vince Dunn, but it would cost a significant asset and I don't think you do that deal for a rental... and I can't see how the Leafs afford him,
unless... they trade Kerfoot in the off-season and sign Dunn to an bridge deal.

If you can find a player that is better than both Dermott and Bogosian, then you play that guy every day and put dermott or bogosian in depending on the need.
TBH bogosian does very little to move my needle. I notice him out there all the time for being really slow and getting beat at skating.

The only incentive for us to play Bogosian is so he resigns again for cheap.
Dermott? I dont care about him. I hope the Kraken takes him.

Right after getting back on the ice after surgery, I made it my “stretch goal” to join
@Capitals
for the end of the season. Training has been going really well and I’ve been feeling good - but my heart isn’t quite ready.

Reminds me of Stroman.
I've listened to some podcasts with Stroman...it was nice to get a non biased fan/media listen on him. He just really believes in himself and really cares about the work he puts in. Some people dont like people like that.
Subban gives me the same feel. - Santo_44
there is probably something they have in common. That bothers some folks

I feel like Bogosian has done a damn good job stabilizing that bottom pair. Hes heavy on the puck and does a decent job moving it out of the zone. Not a ton of defensive gaffes or unsightly pinches. Honestly, I trust him more than Rielly right now...
I see him as meaner come playoff time, and if he keeps playing as he has he's exactly the guy you want. Low liability and makes the other team second guess themselves in corners and around the net.
Dermott needs to be bumped down and be an injury replacement, but a solid two way guy with Bogo and I think there's a damn good bottom pair there. 3 reliable pairs is massive for a deep run.
