Wayne Train to bounce in / out with Spezza?
Having a group of forwards this deep is just so glorious.....no "insert name of Marlie here" if someone gets hurt - hell if 2 people get hurt!
And this does not include Tricky Nicky Robertson as an option. - Cush29
No.
Wayne Train to bounce in / out with Thornton.
Spezza is contributing nicely. |

The point is to invest to make less wild guesses, and more educated guesses..? - MaximusAurelius
So you want to pay more money for scouts to scout games that aren't being played? |

There's about five guys that will be plugged in and out of three spots.
Which is quite fine, actually. |

We can use the batcomputer to extrapolate the players' projected performances during covid lockdown. All we need is a slide with their DNA that we can feed into it. |

Hyman - Matthews - Marner
Galchenyuk - Tavares - Nylander
Jumbo - Kerfoot - Spezza
Foligno - Nash - Mickey
Engvall - gravyface
Why is Jumbo even in that line up and for heaven sake on the third line. They didn't give up a first for Foligno to play 8 minutes a game. Big joe needs to head to the press box for a rest and maybe come back in playoffs

I was saying 'any means' including advanced scouting methods or whatever options there might be.
These players all played before covid, surely there is game footage, and there has to be something that could be tried.
Throwing a few million in such a project could pay of not only upcoming draft, but as well drafts after that. |

Spezz was one of the few who showed some life vs the Jackets last year, plus he looks to be in even better shape this year. Key face off guy. He stays until he needs a rest. Agree with Simmonds who hasn’t shown much since returning, but have to give him time. |

Silence of the lambs, Brains with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. Correct me if I am wrong.. Someone will. - bixll
Liver. It was Chianti in the movie, a different wine in the book. The movie wasn't as funny as the book. |

I don't think they gave up a first to stick a guy on the 4th line
Galchenyuk gets bumped if Foligno clicks with Tavares and Nylander |

So what you are saying is there are known methods for evaluating that neither the Leafs nor other teams have bothered utilizing yet, but now that there's COVID-19, they should start using them? |
