The wording in the trade says Vegas 2nd round pick. That would lead me to believe it's whatever pick the Knights themselves are going to have. It said SJ brokered the deal and got Buffalo's 5th rounder from Vegas.

While killing time I looked up a player named Johnny Pesky. This is an old time baseball player, played ss. I bet no one recalls what team and roughly what era/years. What a name. Announcer could say Pesky is a real pesky battle, fouling off pitch after pitch. "Pest" word used above jogged memory of a player named Pesky....that's how I came up with the trivia idea.

Out - the bad Morrison, Carlsson, Walmark, Highmore, Janmark, Soderberg and a 2022 5th.
= a career minor leaguer, 4 guys who won't be on the team next year anyway and a 5-6 Dman.

In - Hinostroza, Connolly, Stillman, rights to Borgstrom, Richardinson (replaces Morrison as a AHL player), rights to Rolston, a 2021 2nd and 7th and a 2022 3rd.

I could see Vinnie signed on the cheap next year, Connolly gone in the expansion draft, Stillman possibly contributing as a 5-6 Dman, a couple of prospects and a couple more draft picks.
The big fish in the pond is Borgstrom.

Edit forget Gaudette. Maybe some potential there.

Rolston plays at Notre Dame. So not really. They must have liked something from him while keeping tabs on Slaggert. Its essentially Soderberg for a 5th. Except the 5th is a bit further along in his development.

Would like to see Stillman and Connelly play tonight. Connelly in for Soda who was moved, and if Dehaan out, Stillman in for Dehaan?
