I'm just feeling different about this team. Could they go out in the first? 100%, but you'd have to be blind to see that this year's team just plays differently. Could they start looking like they're mailing it like the last two years? Sure, but they just seem to have a different energy this year.

I most worry about Boston and Carolina. As bad as Boston is right now, they're injured and will get healthy. They're similar to NJ in the respect that no matter what the Pens seem to struggle against the way they play.

Tampa should scare me, but they don't completely. I easily see six to seven games, but stylistically I think the Pens match up better with them than Carolina who's just a systematic beast of a machine.

I’m most worried about Washington, NYI, and Boston. Because we will play at least 1 of those teams,

I’m not hating the Carter trade, it could have been much worse but as I’ve said many times this year when someone said we have no draft capital, we easily could have matched bjork and a 2nd. Most big trades seem very underwhelming and I would have tried to go after Hall first. He was the best known available player.

No team will be an easy out and I wouldn't call the Pens a favorite against any matchup, but I worry about WSH and NYI far less than I do Boston or Carolina. The playoffs are different than the regular season, and I don't think you should COMPLETELY gauge regular season success against a team to predict a series outcome, but the Pens seem to know how to play the Isles and Caps.

We can take Boston if we keep home ice over them.

Despite the B's having bad injuries right now they have a very lovely remaining schedule. They play BUF six times and NJ twice. I'm hoping we can keep 3rd place, but I still bet we grab 4th.

Ours isn't hard either haha. We have Buff 4 times and the Devils 3 haha. With only on the road this weekend to Buff. The other 5 are home. And the Flyers 3 times haha

I guess those two games against Boston will be crucial.

And we're home both of them. Then we have 2 against Washington on the road.

We’re a game back on 1st place. The Bs are two games back on us considering games in hand. We also have an easy schedule. I think we beat them

I guess we will have to see how big of an impact Lazar has for the Bruins.

I told you guys he was going to be a prime target. Boston probably would have had to give up a first if Halls contract wasn't attached to the deal.

In all seriousness, now that the Pens didn't pick him up, I hope he poops the bed.

EK stating Gogo is in play. This is a moment I'm glad JR isn't at the helm.

That shocks me. Arizona and St. Louis are neck and neck right now. I wouldn't think they would be trading away pieces for small time assets.
