Well, if you put him on the RW with Zucker and McCann you could have a legit 2nd line. Carter brings a much better scoring touch that ERod there. Looking long term, you are right. Malkin might be forced into a 3rd/4th line minute situation until he gets back into game speed.

I think it was the 17/18 playoffs when Malkin returned after tweaking his knee. It wasn't pretty. I'm concerned this will be similar.

Yea I'd keep our PP the same unless it goes stale, then throw Carter on that LW PP

So I was watching Carter's highlights from this season. He scored going to the net, taking a one timer, making a nifty move and taking that wrist shot. Just seems he can score in different ways which is good I guess.
