I would be surprised if his career continues much longer. The guy is clearly a moron of the highest order, and that part blots out everything else.

He will be in the nhl next season. So you have met him?

If a 55ish year old man is so staggeringly lacking in alternative possibilities for his entertainment that he ends up on a sports site everyday deliberately misquoting and misinterpreting another poster just to draw his reaction then an occasional pity response is hardly evidence of a lack of control.

I have ignored the ten+ previous times this week, one of which happened just Saturday for example, where I clearly used words like "add" and "arsenal" to refer to the advantage of the accumulation of RedWings picks and you responded as though I had made my point about the single 4th round pick:

https://www.hockeybuzz.co...p?thread_id=171889&page=3)

I should just stop reading your posts altogether. The content to aggravation/misery ratio is so low, that it would justify my decision easily.

I have not watched him much but looking at his stats he has been a consistent producer and if he plays the game hard like that I’m interested for the right price and term.

The Flyers priority should be adding a defenseman and that will take up cap assets, potentially limiting the team in other areas. The Flyers need some net crashers and guys that are hard on pucks. Coleman may be a relatively cheaper UFA that they might ne able to afford. All depends on what else happens.

Could Fletcher not have been in on Fleury from the Canes. Does not look the Ducks had to give up too much and his Cap hit for next year is only 1,300,000.
Former 1st round draft pick 7th overall.

4 years in jr., 2 seasons in the AHL, parts of 3 seasons in the NHL. Is a 24 year old d man with all the tools to be a very good player...100 plus games in the NHL...over 200 professional games.....but he’s not a 19 year old rookie....he’s making mistakes and as the coaching staff has pointed out these are being pointed out to him game in and game out. He shouldn’t be making these same mistakes every game. He is not in his infancy he’s a young player that’s struggling....(frank)ing excuses around here for some of these players are laughable.... it’s the NHL ladies...not some scrub league. The training wheels need to come off. If he continues to struggle then it’s on him...it’s not like he’s learning a new position...he needs to get his poop together if he’s going to play a regular shift on any NHL blue line.

Except that Myers was undrafted and was a camp invitee that impressed with his raw talent. There are plenty of guys from his draft year that never made it to the NHL. His trajectory upwards is understandably longer than others, but at least he has a trajectory upwards, unlike others his same age. Hence, it is reasonable to give him more time, especially considering his strong play prior to this year. If you think otherwise, fine. But you're assessment of him is dead wrong. Especially considering the fact that people much smarter than you that make a living in hockey see things very differently.

Preferably Seth Jones with Hamilton a strong 2nd option. After that, I have no idea who else is available or what the price would be.

On such topics, you seem to display a daily misunderstanding that is epic, almost MJL-esque, in that it displays below 5th grade level confusion. Do you have even a rudimentary understanding of how correlation and probability work with data?

Where's this strong correlation? I'm sure if we expanded this to final four instead of just the final two, the variance would be even wider.

Tomahawk, stop letting sound facts and reason get in the way of a good narrative from the "smarter than everyone else" PT21. You do know that everyone else is stupid and he's so smart.

The number of elementary mistakes you have made in this post is quite frankly, deeply dispiriting.

1. The issue under discussion is Stanley CUP WINNER. Not finals appearances. Nobody said anything about Finals appearance.

2. look at your own data. Average out the ranks you have provided in the column on the left. You get the average league rank of Stanley cup winner to be 6.5 out of 30 odd!!! If it was luck, you would have had 15.

I mean, DUDE!!!!!

EDIT: Even more convicingly, the average rank is 5.5, not 6.5. If that is not correlation for you, I don't know what is.
