The only thing I can think of, from a post on HF, is that his wife had apparently been vocal on social media about not adhering to guidelines before they got COVID and then deleted it all after they got the team sick. Maybe the team told Benning to get rid of him?

I'd rather the 5th or 6th rounder that Gaudette could have gotten.

I have watched a few Hawks games and Motte is a decent comparison. Canucks will need some guys like that next season, plus he plays centre...Beagle replacement.

the "webinar" with the team MD and Benning had said there was no break in protocol, and that the outbreak was at an establishment that was within protocol (even if we assume it was gaudette, I don't think anyone broke any rules, or not according to the team or MD.

Don’t see how Highmore (by himself) is equivalent value for Gaudette, regardless of what you think of Adam’s ability to be 3LC. Expecting more to this.
