If you think that was an overreaction just wait and see my posts if JB is still the GM when next season starts.

Better start sharpening your hammer.

Misinterpreted or I am lousy at delivering a message.

I was referring to the statement about not seeing beyond personal bias, all that I have read on these pages is personal bias, all the social media is personal bias.

Hence the "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" saying.

Wife just cut my hair, now enjoying a nice glass or riesling at my outdoor fire table.

Part of the reason I stopped posting hockey talk on this forum is cause of poop like this though. I post my opinion and I'm either a Benning bro or a team whiner bro or whatever the (frank) people are saying. I voice my opinion that goes against the grain and it's labeled an over reaction. I post something that goes with the crowd and I'm a sheep. I was posting today while working a 12 hour shift and because I post a ton more than usual, people think I'm over excited about something we all knew was going to happen. Like I said before, the only thing that would fire me up would be a sutter extension, log back in when Benning announces it in the summer and I'll show you an over reaction.

I made a nice slow bolognese and having a glass of red after a nice full day of work, made a few comments earlier but have to admit this board has gotten way worse this past year or so. Covid? I dunno, but i sure post less. Enjoy your eve.

Covid has made everything and everyone worse man. This is week 8 of 10-12 hour shifts for me and facilities in Island Health, this virus sucks. Try to make the most out of your health and days. Enjoy your glass of wine my friend.

Wouldn't it be great to have a the ability to send a high voltage shock through to peoples devices, instead of a hammer.

I could send a jolt and go oops meant to use the hammer.

When Benning likes a player, he doesn’t tend to move off that position.

And when he dislikes a player, he doesn’t tend to move off his position.

This has long been the word from his competitors and collaborators alike.

It just reared its head again.

--------
This seems very true.

- manvanfan

He likes the players he scouted 10 years ago and doesn't let go to I noticed.

I think maybe it was the volume of posts and the amount of name calling, labelling, and negativity towards Benning. You speak out about these kind of things. So when you use them for an entire days worth of posting, yeah it's an overreaction. As for the rest of it, I couldn't care less why or why not you post here.

I understood but wanted to lighten the mood a bit. I’m as guilty as anyone for overreacting to anything Canucks, especially management decisions.

Finally done with 11 weeks of 10hr shifts on nights. Had only 6 nights off. Looking forward to daylight & hockey.

So how has it been in here & how about getting Bowey & Highmore?

I’ve been super good lately. Don’t even post that much. Waiting for something of consequence to discuss.

Some are happy to see Gaudette leave some are not so happy with the return. Count me as fine with today's moves.

Oh, welcome back.

Winning % has us picking 9th.

Odd year for drafting so could get lucky picking then. I lean towards RHD.

Ty

Leaves a hole at C so I expect Sutter is back. Mixed on losing AG but Highmore could mean dead weight on bottom 6 gone.

I'm sure his feelings, and those who blindly follow him, will survive my 4 hours of criticism

I might be aging myself but do you remember those old E.F. Hutton commercials; “When EF Hutton talks, people listen”?

Two people are talking and everyone around them stops doing what they are doing and lean in to listen?

When Codes1087 talks, people listen. You’re very influential.

I wish my wife paid half as much attention to what I say as what some posters do here.
