Yeah those trades were clear wins, I think he did overpay on our trades this year's but it doesn't mean they are bad trades.

Truthfully the only one I found really bad was the Kadri one.

Mirtle had a good piece on the athletic after the Rittich trade.

Basically it sounds like Andersen is going to be shut down. They are being way too quiet and the Rittich trade doesn’t make a whole lot of sense if Freddy was expected to come back anytime in the next 15 games.

Leafs know what they can do...if Freddy is indeed about to get shut down then leafs have quite a bit more space to spend.

Unless they wanted to spend a 3rd on a backup backup goalie.

There was an athletic article saying they had like 50k in space after the Foligno deal.

I would think it is very difficult to add from here. That being said, nobody outside the Leafs organization seems to be able to figure out their cap.

Do we think Foligno's as good as Hyman? I don't seem to recall his skating being impressive, but I haven't watched him play much since he's been with the BJs.

That was before the Rittich trade, which signals that Freddy isn’t coming off LTIR. Leafs will have over 3M left of LTIR relief after putting Hutchinson and Barabanov back on the Taxi Squad.
