They had 12 last year...

I don't know who they had to move up from the taxi squad to the roster to bring them to the cap ceiling to maximize the amount, but once they do that, they can maximize the LTIR allowance. They may still even have room to move a body down to bring a body in if they still make a minor move, but I suspect they are done now.

Being objective, 2021 is considered a weak draft, and it's considered highly unpredictable given the lack of CHL and junior hockey seasons played worldwide. Probably never a better time to jettison picks.
