They had more than enough cap room to fit him in without retention and still have room to add. Calgary retained 50%.

Big upgrade on Hutch and he has shown potential. Lack of confidence and been playing deep in his net. Change might just get his confidence back and he starts to look a helluva lot better.

Hall will be lucky to get 3 pieces. I would be offering a 2nd, prospect and a roster player.
