Hopefully this is to help them grab hall as well. - bryant
They just moved a 1st for Foligno.
I doubt hall is coming to the leafs. |

Well it's Foligno and not hall. He brings more in your face that the leafs need so hope this works out. |

The first hurts but hopefully it will be a low one... Somewhat palatable since the picked up Amirov last year and have some decent prospects coming up. |

My fear is that he is a great playoff guy UNTIL he is a Leaf. Now he will be called for every infraction and end up costing the team. |

Oh it will work out to a parade to the penalty box, it is the Leafs after all. |

He's a warrior, and should do well offensively in the leafs top 6. Good add. |

Foligno will run around $350k in daily cap hit. Noesen hits waivers/taxi squad so likely no salary burden. Still room for a modestly priced depth blue liner. |

Jesus, you don’t give yourself a shot at the cup without paying. Getting Foligno for less than $1.4 or whatever is great. |

If people were concerned about grit and playing a heavy game in the playoffs, this trade addresses that 100%. |

Now only find a way to get Nylander off the roster and add a d guy that can play well defensively and a heavy game |

It is great, just generally dont like the idea of trading 1st round picks. It's cool because the have decent depth and prospects coming up and picked up Amirov etc in the Kapanen deal. Personally I'm excited about the deal. |

I'm happy with this. Only stuck with 25% of the cap hit which warrants the 1st. |
